Charlie Marcotte – Owner Charlie truly loves every aspect of the car business and feels he is living the ‘American Dream’. In 1990 Charlie and his father Chuck entered the industry and worked from a 10′ by 20′ storage unit in Williamsburg. Many changes have taken place since that stage and today American Pride Automotive has three repair shops, two independent dealerships and a treasure trove of pictures documenting the changes. What Charlie is most proud of is the creation of a project called Family Service Day. Having started FSD in 2009 with no clear plan for its future it is amazing to witness it’s growth in becoming a benefit corporation with a National Network of over 5,000 independent repair shops that now have exclusive rights to perform FSD events of their own. Charlie is a devoted husband to Diane and father to three successful children.
