Due to thunderstorms the Vineyards 5k to benefit Child Development Resources was postponed until Sunday the 12th. Despite the delay the race was well attended and hundreds of runners and walkers enjoyed Food by Moe’s, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, raffle drawings, and the kids enjoyed climbing on Big Red the American Pride Fire Truck and Mascot. Race results are available here.
Best of all the race raised over $21,000 for CDR! CDR serves families in the greater Williamsburg area by helping babies and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays walk and talk, eat and play. They also help keep those who are at risk for developmental delay safer and healthier.
