State Inspections for Our Community
Through the State Inspections for Our Community program, American Pride donates a significant part of the service fee to groups and organizations with important needs and missions. You won’t pay more to have your vehicle inspected at American Pride than you will at any other certified Virginia state inspection station. Instead, you walk away with both a legally inspected car and the knowledge that your money is being used to do good. (Click here to schedule a state inspection appointment)
Annual Virginia state inspections are a necessary part of vehicle ownership, but when you choose to have your car inspected at American Pride Automotive, that yearly task becomes an opportunity to help those in need. Every day we turn the ordinary into extraordinary results for people in the community…
We Did It!
We reached our objective! For July, August and September, $5.00 from every State Inspection performed was set aside for this quarter’s community: star Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg. Through our State Inspections for our Community program and the loyalty of our awesome customers we raised over $6,000.00 for this valuable asset to Hampton Roads. It was an honor to support such a terrific non-profit.
Hospice House and Support Care of Williamsburg
By providing care for people who are terminally ill at no cost to their families, Hospice House pursues its mission of enhancing the quality of living for individuals facing the last phases of life and supporting their caregivers. Highly trained staff works 24/7 to offer assistance with daily tasks, light meals and spiritual/moral support in the form of counseling. Hospice House has been our Community Star twice; we most recently raised $6,000 for their cause.
Beyond Boobs (Spring 2015 Community Star Beyond Boobs is a Williamsburg-based organization dedicated to education about and prevention of breast cancer in women of all ages. They “pack some punch into the pink ribbon” by going beyond awareness and providing women with action steps to best prevent breast cancer, and most importantly, teaching women with breast cancer how to live well after diagnosis. American Pride was proud to exceed our fundraising goal for the organization this spring and donate $6,912. Learn more about Beyond Boobs, here.
NATASHA House For January and February 2015, we were excited to donate a portion of every state inspection fee to NATASHA House.
