More Subarus on the way!

The Facebook Caption Contest Winner!

Runners Up:  Yabba, Dabba, Doo….Step on it Fred!,  Let’s see Carfax explain this!, and  Subaru Outback Woody Edition (spotted owl not included)

We’re frequently asked,  “where do you get your used cars?”  The bulk of the cars we sell come from wholesale only auctions and we also take trade-ins and buy cars directly from individuals.  Charlie goes to an auction in Fredricksburg most Thursdays and throughout the day we office folk check to see what he’s buying.  Everyone has their favorites-Dan likes Volkswagen and BMWs, Kevin likes Jeeps, Gerald wants Honda Civics, and I (Sharon) want Subarus!  And since I’m writing the blog, guess which kind of car I’m going to talk about?

Today Charlie bought two, including a relatively rare 2005 Legacy 2.5GT 5-Speed Manual in Silver.  The Legacy GT  has a turbo charged 2.5L 4-cylander engine and is highly sought after by Subaru enthusiasts.    He also bought an ’03 Outback in white.  Both cars will be arriving tomorrow and will be listed on line with pictures early next week!

My family is on our second Subaru, and as a cyclist many of my friends drive them too.  The outdoor community has embraced the all-wheel-drive SUV alternative to the extent parking lots at bike races and trail heads look like Subaru ads (bravo to their marketing department).  Besides the great cargo room and low roof line for adventure equipment, we’ve loved the reliability.  Both Subarus we’ve owned have been very inexpensive to repair and maintain despite receiving less than gentle handling at times.  Enough Subaru love for now, next week I’ll see if Kevin can explain to me why Jeeps are awesome.
