“Having a business like American Pride has been a lifelong dream, although every day hasn’t been easy every day has certainly been fun” says Charlie. In 1990, Charlie and his father, Chuck started working on cars from a 10′ by 20′ storage unit in Williamsburg. Many changes have taken place since that stage and today American Pride Automotive has five full-service repair shops and a treasure trove of pictures documenting the changes and growth. “I see this as a true reflection of the American Dream and am so proud of not only where American Pride is today but also to have my oldest son, Andrew alongside me willing and able to carry on our good works”. 

Andrew Marcotte joined the American Pride team in December of 2017 as General Manager. He joined the company after having played football for the Virginia Military Institute from 2010-2014 where he started all 4 seasons and earned all-conference ranks in the Southern Conference. Andrew graduated with a degree in Business and Economics and brings to the company a passion for processes and procedures while holding the bar high demanding the same level of integrity as was expected from him at VMI. Following graduation, he spent 3 years as an Outbound Operations Manager for the Target Corporation leading a distribution team. Some of Andrew’s earliest memories involve American Pride, where he often spent time as a child with his Father and Grandfather (Charlie and Chuck) and is ecstatic to join the team at APA. When not at work he spends his time with his wife, Kourtney, and their two children, Beau and Ella. Respectful of the education and experiences he was afforded by Williamsburg’s Lafayette HighSchool, Andrew is excited to give back as a line coach for their record-breaking Football team
